Confucius's hometown

We visited the Temple and Museum of Confucius on a beautifully clear day. The morning light fell perfectly across the courtyards, and I found myself wandering through centuries of history — the stone inscriptions, the ancestral halls, the quiet gardens where scholars once contemplated philosophy.

Back at the hotel, I was struck by how thoughtfully it had been designed. The two-floor layout created an intimate feeling despite being among the best places I've stayed — and the value for money was extraordinary. I'm planning a separate review to do it justice.
